1. Services Overview
SoCal Industries provides portable restroom rentals, VIP restroom trailer rentals, temporary fencing, barricades, and handwash station rentals for construction sites, special events, and other applications throughout Southern California.
2. Rental Agreement
All equipment rentals are subject to our standard Rental Agreement, which will be provided at the time of booking. The Rental Agreement contains specific terms regarding:
- Rental period and pricing
- Delivery and pickup arrangements
- Service and maintenance schedules
- Customer responsibilities
- Damage and loss liability
- Payment terms
3. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided through our website or by our staff are estimates based on the information provided. Final pricing may vary based on:
- Actual rental duration
- Delivery location and accessibility
- Service frequency requirements
- Equipment availability
- Special event requirements
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
4. Delivery and Placement
Customer is responsible for:
- Ensuring adequate access for delivery vehicles
- Providing a level, firm surface for equipment placement
- Obtaining any necessary permits or approvals
- Marking underground utilities before delivery
- Ensuring placement location is free of obstructions
SoCal Industries reserves the right to refuse delivery if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
5. Customer Responsibilities
During the rental period, the customer agrees to:
- Use equipment only for its intended purpose
- Not move or relocate equipment without authorization
- Not alter, modify, or deface equipment
- Ensure equipment is accessible for scheduled servicing
- Report any damage or issues promptly
- Prevent misuse or vandalism
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
6. Service and Maintenance
Regular servicing (pumping, cleaning, restocking) is included in most rental packages. Service frequency depends on usage and rental agreement terms. Customer must ensure equipment is accessible during scheduled service times.
7. Damage and Loss
Customer is responsible for all damage to or loss of equipment during the rental period, except for normal wear and tear. Damage charges will be assessed based on repair or replacement costs. Customer agrees to:
- Report all damage immediately
- Not attempt unauthorized repairs
- Pay for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or vandalism
- Pay full replacement cost for lost or stolen equipment
8. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in the Rental Agreement. Generally:
- A deposit may be required at booking
- Invoices are due within 30 days of receipt
- Late payments may incur interest charges
- We accept major credit cards, checks, and ACH transfers
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees may apply:
- More than 7 days before delivery: Full refund of deposit
- 3-7 days before delivery: 50% of deposit may be retained
- Less than 3 days before delivery: Full deposit may be retained
Special event rentals may have different cancellation terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
SoCal Industries's liability is limited to the rental fees paid. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of business or profits
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
- Third-party claims
11. Indemnification
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SoCal Industries, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from customer's use of rental equipment or violation of these Terms.
12. Website Use
Our website is provided for informational purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with website functionality
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of SoCal Industries and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
